Barns

Let me cut to the chase and tell you a few things about our barns: 

  • The barn is our most efficient building as with the 6' sidewall and above you can add a loft for additional overhead storage.
  • On a 12' wide barn with 6' sidewall there is 6' high overhead storage with the loft sitting on the top of the wall (12' tall biulding). 
  • With a 4' sidewall the barn is our lowest profile building.
  • Barns have proven to be our biggest sellers.

Gables

  • The Gable is a traditional inverted 'V' shaped roof.
  • It is more widely accepted by HOA's (Home Owners Associations).
  • The Gable is most often selected with Vinyl and Hardy Plank Siding.
  • It is our second most popular building.

Chalets

  • The Chalet is our 'Salt Box' type building designed to be used in a yard where the space is wider rather than deep.
  • It includes a door, a soffit vent and a window with shutters in the front, and has a shorter wall in the back (6.5' front vs 5.5' back).
  • It is most often used in backyard swimming pool settings.
  • The chalet has often been used as a children's playhouse.

Classics

  • The Classic is our premier building with a 'hip' shaped roof and 7' sidewalls standard.
  • It is more widely accepted when the customer has a ranch style house with the same roof lines.
  • The Classic is often selected with Vinyl and Hardy Plank Siding.
  • It is often used in commercial environments.
  • It is used in commercial poolside applications as well.

Large Gables

  • The Large Gable is most often used as a workshop, warehouse or garage.
  • We offer a wide selection of garage doors and separate entry doors.
  • This building is most often used with a concrete slab.

Large Barns

  • The Large barn is most often used with a workshop on the 1st floor and storage upstairs.
  • It has been converted to cottage living space in the mountains and by lakes and rivers (add a metal roof, side porch and dormers to complete the unit).
  • It is also used with our pole foundation and no floor for livestock (traditional barn).
